Warm mix asphalt is paving mix that can be produced and compacted at lower temperatures than traditional hot mix asphalt materials for roadway development. This may result in reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) and asphalt emissions through lower operational temperature requirements at the plant and at the job site. PHALANX®, a specially engineered warm mix additive, is designed to improve compactability of hot asphalt mixes and Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) mixes. It helps reduce the paving temperature when laying down a roadway. PHALANX helps lower the carbon footprint, reduce energy consumption, and deliver overall cost savings.
PHALANX: Advancing Warm Mix Technology for a Lower-Carbon Asphalt Future
Over the past 20 years, the asphalt industry has undergone a steady transformation driven by rising performance demands, tighter environmental standards, and the need for more efficient construction practices. In response, asphalt mix design has evolved far beyond traditional hot mix methods. As part of this evolution, Sripath Technologies has consistently developed solutions that respond directly to real-world challenges in binder modification, recycling, [...]
