ReLIXER

ReLIXER® is a specially formulated elixir of bio-based oils that rejuvenates aged bitumen when recycling and reusing high levels of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and/or reclaimed asphalt shingles (RAS) in mixes. Sripath’s ReLIXER is the leading asphalt rejuvenator or recycling agent on the market – trusted by customers worldwide and backed by peerless technical support from our in-country agent network. An asphalt rejuvenator is an additive that can restore the functional properties of aged asphalt binder, also known as bitumen. While the benefits of high-RAP mixes are many, there are physical limitations to using large amounts of RAP. Adding an asphalt rejuvenator can restore functional performance of aged asphalt and allow for higher RAP usage, up to 100% in some cases.

Surface Treatments for Asphalt Roadways

Maintaining asphalt roadways and parking areas doesn’t always require full resurfacing. Surface treatments are cost-effective, durable, and can extend the life of pavement by protecting it from oxidation, moisture, and wear. For road managers, contractors, and property owners, understanding the types of surface treatments and their applications is key to choosing the right solution. Many of these treatments [...]

Managing Viscosity in Asphalt Mixes for Improved Workability

Achieving the right asphalt workability is crucial for ensuring smooth, long-lasting roads. One of the key factors influencing workability is the viscosity in asphalt, which is a measure of its resistance to flow. Properly managing asphalt viscosity ensures mixes can be placed and compacted efficiently while minimizing aging defects such as cracking, rutting, or other deformations.    Understanding [...]
