The conclusion of the 2025 season ended a successful year for the Sripath Technologies sponsored Introne Racing team after the final Championship Weekend event at Thompson Speedway in Thompson, CT October 17-18. With a two-car team this season, drivers Steve and Zach Introne earned the following championship standings.

Steve Introne, #12

Northeast Divisional Champion

2nd in the New England Region Championship

3rd in the Northeast Majors Championship

Zach Introne, #11

3rd in the Northeast Divisional Championship

4th in the New England Region Championship

5th in the Northeast Majors Championship

**shortened season due to leaving for school, did not compete in all points races

Zach was sitting 2nd in the points heading into the Championship Weekend races for the New England Region Championship, which is an event he missed due to having to return to school. If he had raced, he likely would have won that series.

In total, the team won 11 races – at tracks including Pitt Raceway, Watkins Glen, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park – in the Honda and both Minis. They also collected many 2nd and 3rd place podium finishes as well!

As Steve spent most of the season developing the new Honda Fit, he’s excited to see how it will continue to perform as he fine tunes it for the 2026 season. Together, this father-son team will be a formidable duo on the tracks heading into next year. On a trip to Grattan Raceway in Michigan for Zach’s final races of the season, he was not only faster than the track record on his first visit to the track, he also earned the pole position, and led all but the final lap. Ultimately, he lost to the driver who ended up 3rd at this year’s National Championships, but managed to finish ahead of the driver who did win the 2025 National Championship.

“This season has proved Zach can hold his own amongst national competition,” Steve explained. “B-Spec is a class where winning requires teamwork. Two cars running together are always faster than one. Next year will be where he continues to develop his racecraft, and we work to build that bond where we drive as one on course. It’s going to be exciting to watch, and it’s only possible thanks to the continued support of sponsors like Sripath.”

Work continues during the off-season, with the Honda just coming off the dyno with a new tune. The data looks good, and testing is set for a track day this month. Steve’s Mini is also in his shop with an entire engine re-build underway.
