2026 OPWA Awards Luncheon held May 13 where Sripath received an award for technical innovation.

Sripath Technologies extends its sincere appreciation to the APWA Ontario Chapter for recognizing the Regional Municipality of York's Performance-Based Warm Mix High-RAP Trials on the Leslie Street Corridor with the Technical Innovation Award in the $2-$10M category.

Sripath is honored to be part of this award-winning project and deeply grateful to the OPWA Awards Committee for highlighting the innovation and collaboration that made it possible. The Leslie Street Corridor trials in the York Region represent an important step forward in advancing performance-based pavement solutions, demonstrating how warm mix asphalt technologies combined with high RAP utilization and an effective asphalt rejuvenator can deliver durable, sustainable, and cost-effective infrastructure outcomes.

"This achievement reflects the strength of partnership between the Regional Municipality of York, project partners, and the dedicated engineering and construction teams who contributed their expertise at every stage," said Vince Aurilio, Senior Technical Director, Sripath Technologies. "From planning and mix design to field implementation and performance evaluation, this project showcases what can be accomplished when public agencies and private innovators work together toward shared goals of sustainability and long-term infrastructure performance."

"Sripath is especially proud of the technical contributions made by our team in supporting the development and optimization of the mix design approach used in these trials," said Deepak Madan, Chief Operating Officer, Sripath Technologies. "We would like to recognize the commitment and hard work of everyone involved in bringing this initiative to life."

On behalf of Sripath, Aurilio attended the 2026 OPWA Annual Conference & Awards Luncheon on May 13, 2026, at the Mississauga Grand Banquet & Convention Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, where he accepted this award on the organization's behalf. Sripath was grateful for the opportunity to be present among so many outstanding projects and industry leaders who are advancing public works across the region.

We also extend our congratulations to all of this year's award recipients and our appreciation to the APWA Ontario Chapter for continuing to foster innovation, knowledge sharing, and excellence within the public works community.

Sripath is proud to support initiatives that push the boundaries of pavement performance and sustainability, and we look forward to continuing this important work alongside our partners in the years ahead.
