The asphalt and bitumen industry entered 2025 with a renewed emphasis on performance, resilience, and operational efficiency. Producers and contractors found themselves in need of technologies that could help them do more with less. This included extending pavement life, improving mix workability, and optimizing costs without compromising sustainability.

For Sripath, 2025 was a year defined by innovation, collaboration, and global reach. With an expanded portfolio and technical partnerships, we continued to support the construction of stronger, longer-lasting roads. Through industry events, research initiatives, and successful product milestones, 2025 highlighted our ongoing commitment to delivering practical, high-value technologies that make a difference across the asphalt industry.

ButaPhalt®: A Major Milestone in 2025

One of Sripath's biggest highlights of 2025 was the launch of ButaPhalt, a crosslinking additive engineered to elevate polymer modified bitumen performance. Introduced following the acquisition of the "Buta Business" earlier in the year, ButaPhalt brings a proprietary blend designed for greater dosage efficiency, improved thermal stability, and easier handling. Available in both powder and liquid grades, it helps producers optimize PMB processing, reduce emissions and odors, and lower operational costs. The launch marked a significant expansion of our portfolio and reinforced our commitment to delivering practical innovations that help make asphalt better.

Expanding Research and Education Partnerships

In 2025, Sripath strengthened its collaboration with the University of Oklahoma through research, education, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Earlier in the year, President Krishna Srinivasan presented a webinar on "A Practical Guide on Using High-RAP Mixes" in partnership with the Southern Plains Transportation Center, providing guidance on sustainable, cost-effective asphalt solutions.

Additionally, Sripath sponsored a new Asphalt Emulsions Laboratory at OU's Gallogly College of Engineering and Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy, equipping the lab with state-of-the-art materials and equipment. These initiatives reflect Sripath's commitment to advancing asphalt technology, supporting student research, and fostering innovation that benefits both the industry and communities worldwide.

Growing Our Global Team

Sripath's growth in 2025 wasn't limited to products. Our team expanded with strategic additions that strengthened our technical capabilities worldwide. Dennis Krivohlavek joined Sripath as a Business Development Specialist, bringing deep industry knowledge in asphalt crosslinkers and emulsions to support customer engagement and market development. We also welcomed Dr. Atakan Aksoy to Sripath Innovations as Technical Consultant & Sales for the Turkey region. Their expertise and leadership are already helping us deepen partnerships, accelerate innovation, and deliver even greater value to customers around the globe.

Strengthening Our Worldwide Presence Through Industry Engagement

In 2025, Sripath continued to demonstrate its global leadership by actively participating in key conferences and technical forums across multiple regions. President Krishna Srinivasan joined an expert panel on asphalt recycling techniques with IIT Bombay, while Sripath proudly served as a Gold Sponsor at AAPT 2025 as well as a sponsor of the 70th Annual CTAA Conference in Toronto.

Our teams also engaged with industry partners at the IAT Conference in the UK, AfPA 2025 in Adelaide, and the IAT Northern Ireland meeting, where Sripath Innovations presented on maximizing RAP use. In Türkiye, Sripath delivered dual sessions at the 9th National Asphalt Symposium, further reinforcing our commitment to advancing sustainable, high-performance asphalt technologies worldwide.

Sripath in the Spotlight

Throughout the year, Sripath's innovations and expertise were featured in leading industry publications worldwide. AsphaltPro highlighted our preheating RAP expertise, showcased ButaPhalt in its product gallery, and named ButaPhalt a Top 15 Product for 2025. Roads & Infrastructure Australia featured our PHALANX® warm mix additive, our leadership toward net-zero asphalt, and ReLIXER's sustainable impact across the Asia-Pacific region.

Additionally, Road Surface Technologies spotlighted PGXpand's role in reducing carbon emissions, while ButaPhalt's successful launch was also celebrated in global coverage. These features underscore Sripath's growing influence, thought leadership, and commitment to innovation in the asphalt and bitumen industry.
