At the half-way mark for the 2025 season, the Sripath Technologies sponsored Introne Racing team has proven to be a double-threat on the road courses throughout New England. Quickly following in the footsteps of his National Championship winning father, Zach Introne has emerged as a rising talent in the B-Spec racing series.
In his second full season of competition, driving the #11 Sripath Technologies Mini Cooper, Zach has joined Steve Introne on the podium at Watkins Glen, Limerock Park, Thompson Speedway and New Hampshire Motor Speedway. In fact, he earned his first WINS, taking the checkered flag twice at the Thompson event on July 5th. To date, Zach has collected two 3rd place, six 2nd place and two 1st place trophies, adding his own hardware to the 7 races Steve has won.
Proving his racing pedigree, Zach also joined Steve at the Watkins Glen Hoosier Super Tour event at the end of June. (Full coverage of that event can be seen on YouTube.) Taking the track against multiple National Champions, as well as drivers that just missed the title trophy but still graced the National Championship podium, Zach held his own in this highly competitive field, finishing 7th out of the 16 top-rated B-Spec drivers in the country.
For the #12, Steve continues to break-in the new Honda Fit, which is currently undergoing an engine re-build in preparation for the final events this year. His #12 Mini came out of retirement to join the #11 in side-by-side Mini racing at the NHMS weekend where the father-and-son team took 1st and 2nd in all three races.
“2025 is proving to be a year of growth and development,” Steve explained. “This includes building, testing and tuning the new Honda Fit car, as well as watching my 18-year-old son come into his own on the track and quickly hone his racecraft to become one-to-watch in this series.”
There are still three Regional weekend events left this year, as well as a Championship appearance at either the NERRC or Runoffs in October. Plenty of racing action to come for these Sripath Technologies racecars.
