The 9th National Asphalt Symposium and Exhibition will convene on December 9-10, 2025, at the Halil Rıfat Paşa Conference Hall of the General Directorate of Highways in Ankara. This event will bring together professionals from across Türkiye's asphalt, road construction, and infrastructure sectors.
Organized by leading industry bodies, the symposium is the largest event of its kind, serving as a key forum for scientific exchange, networking, and showcasing of innovations for asphalt production and roadway development. In addition to technical sessions, the event will feature an exhibition where asphalt producers and contractors, material and equipment suppliers, and service providers will showcase their latest products and solutions.
On December 9, Sripath Innovations will participate in two live presentations to offer technical insight into sustainable asphalt technologies and advanced mix design methods.
During Session I "Sustainable Solutions for the Asphalt Industry," Prof. Dr. Atakan Aksoy will present on the topic of "Asphalt Rejuvenation Increases RAP Usage for Expanding Sustainable Roadway Development in Türkiye." Based on a paper coauthored by Dr. Krishna Srinivasan, and Dr. Deepak Madan, the talk will highlight how asphalt rejuvenator technology can dramatically increase the use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). Attendees will learn how proper rejuvenation restores the aged binder within RAP to enable higher recycled content in mixes without compromising performance. This approach offers a path toward cost-savings, reduced demand for virgin materials, and significantly lowered environmental impact to help align asphalt construction with global trends toward more sustainable roadway development.
The second session of the day, "Technologies Enhancing the Performance of Asphalt Mixtures" will also include a presentation from Sripath Technologies. Srinivasan will speak on "Use of Bitumen-Friendly Polymeric Additives to Produce High-Performance PMB Mixtures." The original paper, coauthored with Prof. Dr. Aksoy, and Mr. Ranjeet Sandhu, explored the role of modern polymeric additives in improving asphalt mixture performance. During his presentation, Srinivasan will explain how to produce high-performance polymer modified bitumen (PMB) blends to achieve enhanced durability, improved resistance to rutting and cracking, and better long-term behavior under traffic and climate stress.
