Global Supplier of Asphalt Additives Adds Proven Products to Its Portfolio 

 

MAHWAH, NJ (May 19, 2025) – Sripath Technologies LLC, a leading supplier of innovative additives for the asphalt and bitumen industry, announced that on May 15, 2025, Sripath Technologies® closed on a transaction to acquire the “Buta Business” consisting of the assets and businesses of Butaphalt Products LLC, Butachem LLC, Butamix LLC, and related businesses and activities. 

 

With this acquisition, Sripath® will add a range of new products and technologies to its innovative portfolio of products it markets to the asphalt and bitumen industry including ButaPhalt®, an innovative cross-linking agent; ButaChem™, emulsion-related chemicals and technologies; and ButaMix™, unique mixing and blending technology for the production of polymer modified binders. 

 

Dennis Krivohlavek, the founder and principal of the Buta Business, has joined the Sripath team as Business Development Specialist. He will contribute his extensive expertise and invaluable wisdom, acting as a technical advisor and resident expert within the Sripath family. Dennis will also assist Sripath in revitalizing the Buta Business.
