NuMIXERยฎ with PGXpandยฎ Expands Useful Temperature Range of Bitumen

The Useful Temperature Range of Bitumen can be effectively expanded by using PGXpandยฎ in combination with NuMIXERยฎ.

Consider the case of a Bitumen with a Softening Point of 49 ยฐC and a Cold Mandrel Passing temperature of +5 ยฐC.ย  The addition of 5 % of NuMIXER and 2 % PGXpand to the Bitumen, improves the softening point to 93 ยฐC and the Cold Mandrel Pass to -12ยฐC.

Mixing in NuMIXER & PGXpand is easy. The viscosity of the modified product is lower than that of the base bitumen.

The Useful Temperature Range of Bitumen can be effectively expanded by using PGXpandยฎ in combination with NuMIXERยฎ.

Consider a base binder with a True Grade of PG 66-26.ย  The addition of 5 % of NuMIXER and 2 % PGXpand to the Bitumen can improve the useful range from a True Grade of PG 66-23 to PG 80 -32.
